Who we are

Marie has been turning trash into treasures for over 20 years. She started on her own furniture where she designed the pieces to fit her unique and distinctive personal style. Her goal was to make her home beautiful. Her family and friends loved her creations. They started asking her to do the same for their pieces. During that time, she used many of the most popular paints and stains. She even made her own from scratch. She expanded her knowledge base in repair and restoration techniques. Once she found Dixie Belle paints, she was hooked. She loved the products so much. She decided to go into business for herself selling Dixie Belle products. She provides her customers with her experience via training and consultations. Five years later, Tchotchkes now carries every Dixie Belle product. They also offer Redesign With Prima, Prima Marketing Inc, Zibra brushes, Essential Stencils, Tipsy Candles and more. These products help you make your world more beautiful. Marie loves what she does, and it shines brightest when she teaches others. She enjoys everything from one-on-one instruction to classes of over 25 students. Marie loves teaching others how to paint it their way.

David joined forces with Marie after his retirement. He brought his experience in repair and restoration of wood furniture pieces. In addition to repair of pieces, he also helps teach classes and maintains the in-store collection of products.

Marie is active in her local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. David is active in his local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
