August Lazy Susan Decorating and Furniture 101 classes in Athens

We’re excited to announce TWO classes in August. They will be held in our store inside Barbara’s Corner in beautiful downtown Athens. Seating is limited to 8 students for both classes. Our classes start at 11 AM and have a period for lunch at a great local restaurant (lunch your cost). You need to make reservations early by texting (504) 275-4143 or (504) 575-4434. Our classes are the most affordable in the area. You also get 15% off any Dixie Belle or Redesign With Prima products the day of the class. Bring a friend or make some new ones in class.

Our first class will start at 11 AM on August 16th and cost $40.00 for the class and all materials. This class will be a Lazy Susan decorating class. You can learn techniques to paint, use stencils, apply transfers, or decoupage on this project. You can also use what you learn in this class on many types of projects.

Our second class will start at 11 AM on August 30th and cost $55.00 for the class and all materials. This class will be our very popular Furniture 101 class where you learn how to do furniture restoration. You will learn how to clean, repair, prime, paint, stain and seal a furniture project. Bring a small piece you can carry, like a small table. If you want to tackle a larger furniture project, bring a door or drawer from it.
