February 22nd at 11 AM we will be having our Furniture 101 class here at our store. Come in and learn how to clean, repair, and prime your project. Learn how to pick the perfect color of paint after a color consultation. Learn our proven techniques to give you the best paint application and finish. Finally, learn how to seal and keep the finish looking beautiful for years. All this for the low cost of $50.00!
Bring in a piece YOU can carry. Alternatively, bring a drawer or door of a larger piece. You will learn our Dixie Belle Paint based techniques. We supply all the materials you will need for the class. You also get a 15% discount on the day of the class. This discount applies to all Dixie Belle and Redesign with Prima products.
Our class starts at 11 AM. We cover project cleaning and repair first. Surface prep is one of the most important aspects of furniture art. Next comes picking your paint color(s) and applying paint to your piece. While the paint dries, we go offsite for lunch at The Cherry Laurel (student responsible for own lunch cost). After lunch we finish the project; the class usually ends between 4 and 5 PM.
